| Listen to these startling statistics: while women make up 46% of the work force, only 8% of engineering jobs are held by women, only 9% of our country’s physicists are women, and 20% of computer programmers are women. Sound surprising? The TV program, The Case of the Missing Human Potential, not only addresses this problem, it also uses research and examples to appeal to parents, caregivers, and the community on what they can and need to do to solve this "case" by getting their girls involved in science and math within their own communities. Purpose of this site: To provide adults and kids with a storehouse of carefully-selected links to the best outside websites that provide them with the resources they need to help close the "gender gap". -find the best science and math camps and organizations -locate several at-home activities and experiments -view some of the research used in the show -discover other ways to give girls a head start in science and math
